Intravenous Vitamins

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Intravenous vitamin therapy delivers essential nutrients directly into the bloodstream, providing quick health benefits. It can enhance hydration, boost energy, and support the immune system, making it a convenient option for improving wellness.

Vitamins introduced intravenously

Administering NAD⁺ via injection delivers this critical molecule directly into the bloodstream for rapid absorption and enhanced therapeutic effect.

Key Benefits of NAD⁺ Injections:

Boosts Cellular Energy

Supports mitochondrial function and ATP production

Enhances overall vitality, stamina, and metabolism

Improves Mental Clarity & Focus

Supports neurotransmitter balance

May reduce brain fog and improve concentration

Slows Cellular Aging

Promotes DNA repair and cell regeneration

Supports healthier skin, organs, and tissues

Enhances Recovery & Detox

Supports liver detoxification and metabolic cleanup

Commonly used in addiction recovery and post-illness fatigue

Supports Metabolic Health

Improves insulin sensitivity and fat metabolism

May support weight loss efforts in medically supervised programs

Mood and Sleep Regulation

Balances serotonin and dopamine pathways

It may help improve mood stability and sleep cycles

Clinically Supervised Use

At WeightLoss.sc, NAD⁺ injections are administered under medical supervision and may be combined with weight loss, anti-ageing, and wellness protocols for optimal results.

Note: Individual results vary. NAD⁺ therapy is not a cure or replacement for medical treatment, but may enhance overall wellness and energy levels.

Vitamin B12 and Glutathion

A clear and medically accurate summary of the health benefits and clinical indications for Intravenous (IV) Vitamin B12 and IV Glutathione. These are often used in functional medicine and wellness clinics, including as part of anti-ageing, metabolic, or neuro-enhancing programs.

Intravenous Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin)

Health Benefits

Energy production: Supports mitochondrial function, reducing fatigue and improving stamina.

Nervous system support: Promotes healthy nerve conduction and may help with neuropathic symptoms.

Red blood cell formation: Helps prevent certain types of anaemia, especially megaloblastic anaemia.

Mood and cognitive support: May assist in improving mood, memory, and concentration (especially in deficiency states).

Metabolism boost: Facilitates carbohydrate and fat metabolism, often included in weight loss protocols.

Homocysteine reduction: Reduces cardiovascular risk by lowering homocysteine levels.

Skin and hair health: Supports healthy cellular turnover and can indirectly aid hair and skin appearance.

Indications

Confirmed Vitamin B12 deficiency (serum B12 < 200 pg/mL or symptomatic)

Pernicious anaemia (autoimmune intrinsic factor deficiency)

Post-bariatric surgery or malabsorption syndromes (Crohn’s, celiac, SIBO)

Neurological symptoms such as numbness, tingling, or cognitive fog

Chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia

Vegetarian or vegan diet, especially long-term

Adjunct in weight loss programs

Methylation support in functional/integrative medicine

Intravenous Glutathione

Health Benefits

Master antioxidant: Replenishes cellular glutathione levels, neutralising free radicals and oxidative stress.

Liver detoxification: Supports phase II detox pathways, especially helpful for those with fatty liver, alcohol use, or toxin exposure.

Skin brightening: Used in aesthetic medicine for its melanin-inhibiting properties (tyrosinase blockade).

Immune modulation: Enhances immune function in chronic illness or inflammatory conditions.

Neuroprotection: May benefit patients with Parkinson’s, MS, or neuroinflammatory conditions (ongoing research).

Anti-ageing & longevity support: Promotes DNA repair, reduces oxidative damage and inflammation markers.

Improved recovery: Used by athletes for post-exercise oxidative stress reduction.

Indications

Oxidative stress–related conditions (chronic fatigue, autoimmune diseases, etc.)

Liver conditions: NAFLD, hepatitis, alcohol-related liver dysfunction

Neurological disorders: Early studies support use in Parkinson’s and MS

Aesthetic use for skin brightening (off-label)

Chemotherapy adjunct: To protect against chemotherapy-induced toxicity (e.g., cisplatin)

Heavy metal detox protocols

Post-COVID or chronic viral syndromes

Glutathione deficiency syndromes (e.g., genetic or acquired)

INTRAVENOUS NUTRITION THERAPY

Pre and Post-IV Therapy

Pre-Procedure:

Before your IV Therapy, you will be provided with a consent form, which you will be asked to read and sign.

Please ensure you have eaten before the IV procedure.

Post Procedure

Apply pressure to the site for 2 minutes after the IV has been removed.

Bruising at the IV site is possible. If this does occur, it will resolve spontaneously over the next few days.

If you experience any other skin changes at the IV site, such as redness, pain, or swelling, please inform the clinic/treating physician.

After the IV treatment, it is important to drink plenty of water.

Typically, patients report one of two patterns after intravenous therapy:

Some people feel better right away; these patients usually require the biochemical ingredients in the intravenous therapy, and their physiology improves quickly.

Some patients may have fatigue and/or headaches for the first
24 hours following the intravenous therapy. Those patients who feel tired or unwell after IV therapy are generally in the process of detoxifying. When toxins are removed from tissues, they re-enter the bloodstream. They remain poisons, but they are now on their way OUT instead of on their way IN. Even when patients do not feel well at this stage, the process is one of healing and cleaning. After this period, an overall improvement in one's sense of well-being is generally reported.

Future appointments

Typically, a course of treatment is recommended.

Your treating physician will discuss and advise you on the most suitable IV therapy plan.
